Each Scout, Patrol, Group and Troop are encouraged to register their local service or peace projects on the Messengers of Peace Platform: scoutmessengers.org.

The Platform is a virtual hub of global Scout activity that creates an inter-connected Network for Scouts worldwide using social media like Facebook and Twitter.

The Platform Learning Zone has tutorials and materials, games, inspirational projects and a “Super Map” that display your personal 'Flag' to show your project.

Go to scoutmessengers.org “Log In” and create a profile. If you want to highlight your personal commitment to action – such as a service or peace project – go to the “Project” section and fill in the details.

Also each Scout is encouraged to join or start local social media groups. All Scouts can collaborate to Create a Better World!

MoP Network and Online Platform Training

Cynthia Márquez, as Manager of the Messengers of Peace Network, has been on the road delivering educational and training programs on the Messengers of Peace Network and Online Platform ( www.scoutmessengers.org). The objective is to ensure each Region has a dedicated team of trainers who are skilled in promoting opportunities, resources and materials of the Messengers of Peace Network.

More and more NSOs are using the Messengers of Peace Network and Platform as an effective tool to fulfil the objectives of Educational Methods, Institutional Development, Adults in Scouting, Youth for Change, Global Support, Growth and Recruitment, Image and other key goals that Create A Better World!
