WSB Digital Engagement Team is Growing!

We are excited to welcome three new interns to our Digital Engagement team! Luis Aguayo, Camila Delgado, and Caitlin Weich have joined the team on a six month internship to help work on some big projects that are coming up for this department.

Amongst their goals are increasing online engagement with World Scouting, supporting the launch of the new look Scout.org, and improving internal communications tools for use by the World Scout Bureau, regions, and NSOs.

Luis comes from Mexico and is working on the website & mobile app support. He has been a scout since he was 6, he played an active role in his NSO been National Youth Advisor in Mexico and currently is Youth Advisor to the World Scout Committee. He’s also involved in the 2019 World Scout Jamboree as part of the promotion team. Holds a major in International Business with a minor in Finance and has been been involved in leadership and entrepreneurial projects.

Camila, from El Salvador, Central America, is currently working with digital engagement on social media. She has been Scout for 14 years, and is on her way to getting her Graphic Design Bachelor’s Degree. She has worked on social media campaigns for private and non-profitt organisations, design projects, and worked developing the National Leadership training and youth participation network in El Salvador.

Caitlin comes from Wellington, New Zealand, and is working on Internal Communications. She has been a Scout for over 10 years and is currently the Zone Venturer Leader for Wellington. A highlight of her Scouting career was learning to fly at the Walsh Memorial Scout Flying School in New Zealand. Her degree is in Marketing and Management, and she has worked in marketing and communications with not for profit organisations since graduating.

All three interns look forward to working hard over the course of their time at the Kuala Lumpur Global Support Centre to leave a lasting legacy and help the Bureau to achieve it's communications goals.
