700 Scouts serve at Nepal’s major festival

700 Scouts from different parts of Lalitpur served in the final day of the Rato Machindranath festival where thousands of pilgrims participated. Scouts helped in arranging the long queues, providing water to the pilgrims and manning Lost and Found centers.

The beautiful part of the festival was seeing Scouts from different religious beliefs working together at the festival.

Nepal President l Bidhya Devi Bhandari, with Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and other government leaders attended the festival and thanked Scouts for their service.
