From Cub Scout to Astronaut

Did you know that at least 200 astronauts worldwide have been identified as having been Scouts or active in Scouting?

The Scout Association recently announced that European Space Agency astronaut, Major Tim Peake has been appointed as its newest Scout Ambassador. In 2015, he was selected for a six-month stay on the International Space Station (ISS) and was the first British astronaut to spacewalk outside the ISS in January 2016. He credits Scouting for his accomplishments.
