Africa Scout Committee concludes meeting

The two-day meeting of the Africa Scout Committee concluded today at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. On this last day, the committee was joined by Scott Teare, the Secretary General of WOSM.

A key highlight was the presentation of the updates on the progress of preparations for the 7th Africa Scout Jamboree scheduled to take place in Yamoussoukro, Cote D’Ivoire.

After the meeting, the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, regional Director were joined by the Secretary General and the Chairperson of the Africa Scout Foundation Board, Prof. Maggie Kigozi for a courtesy visit to the former President of Ghana, H.E. Jerry John Rawlings.
