10th Africa Scout Youth Forum elects six Youth Advisors the Africa Scout Committee

Delegates of the 10th Africa Scout Youth Forum have today elected six Youth Advisors to the Africa Scout Committee, who will serve during the 2025–2028 Triennium.
The newly elected team will play a vital role in ensuring that the voices and perspectives of young people are reflected in the decisions of Scouting in Africa. Their responsibilities will also include guiding the direction of youth engagement across the region and organising upcoming Youth Forum in 2028, shaping the conversations of the event.
The newly elected Youth Advisors are:
- Youssoufa Sali- Cameroun
- Mchangama Ben Ali - Comoros
- Diallo Aboubakr Siddik Abdou Samad - Cote d’Ivoire
- Kuyateh Momodou - The Gambia
- Ma Dalton Tetoi Sabine - Rwanda
- Benjamin Banda - Zambia
Following the elections, the group selected their leadership team:
- Kuyateh Momodou as Chairperson
- Mchangama Ben Ali as Vice Chairperson
- Ma Dalton Tetoi Sabine as Secretary

Their work begins at the end of the 19th Africa Scout Conference, which will run from 18-21 September in Madagascar.
The Africa Scout Committee is responsible for implementing the decisions of the Africa Scout Conference and acting on its behalf between meetings. With the newly elected Youth Advisors joining, Scouting in Africa continues to strengthen its commitment to meaningful youth participation and leadership.
