Integration of Russian Scouting

In the 15-17th of February 2013 in Moscow took place the 8th Conference VNSO and extended Executive Committee of RANS. There were 114 persons from 51 Russian regions. It was attended by BPS leaders and delegates from Eurasia scout region (Iurie Emilian, director of Eurasia scout office WSB, and Bagrat Yesayan, chairman of Eurasia regional scout committee).

President of RANS, Andrew Emelin presented a report with a main theme of foundation of an integrated national scout organization through the reform of the RANS. Other Russian scouts organizations can joint to the updated RANS. Thereby was decided to organize extraordinary Congress of RANS at 7-8th of December 2013 where will be changed the name of RANS (without the word “navigators”) and the structure of management. It will be the National Council and the post of Chairmen of National Council, and Executive Committee has a new post of the Director of Executive Committee of RANS.

All of leaders of Russian scout organizations were informed about new solutions.

The plan of the creation of the integrated National scout organization of Russia:
The 16-17th of February 2013 – joint leaders session of RANS, VNSO, BPS and NOSD (was realized)
July-August 2013 – discussion about the project of creation integrated National Russian organization in the case of 4 Russian camps VNSO, RANS, NORS, ORUR.
The 5-9th of August 2013 – the all-Russian Conference for leaders of Russian scout organizations in Irkutsk, Lake Baikal.
The 1-4th of November 2013 – the seminar for leaders of Russian scout organizations. The theme “the work of the new Organization in Russia” (Eurasia scout Center in Krasnokamenka, Crimea).
The 6-8th of December 2013 – the extraordinary Committee of RANS. Election of new management of new organization.

Integrated National Russian Scout Organization will include RANS, VNSO, BPS and NOSD. NORS-R and ORUR will be associate members of the voting and they can to joint to the National scout organization of Russia.
