Second Eurasia Regional Scout Jamboree
Location: Moldova, Orhei (45 km north from Chisinau)
Transport: Chisinau can be reached by bus, train or plane. In Chisinau the members of the organizing committee will meet all the participants. The place where the Jamboree will take place can be reached only by car.
Motto: Together in scouting, together for peace!
The Objectives of the Jamboree:
- Promoting the Scout method in the Eurasia Region countries on the basis of traditions and cultural particularities of each country;
- Strengthen the unity of the Scout movement, development of mutual understanding and cooperation in Scouting.
The Program:
All the planned activities integrate the whole camp into a single idea. During the Jamboree we plan:
- Many activities (Global Development, Creativity, Entertainment, Extreme,Camping Attraction, First Aid Workshop and other);
- International Day (Delegations will present various national games, food and different activities, in the same time organizing and participating in a big National Fair);
- Daily evening program or wide campfire;
- Hiking;
- Swimming in the nearby lake or river;
- Excursions.
Each delegation of the National Scout Organization should have a national flag of their
country (preferably in 2 copies).
Age of participants: 14 – 18 years.
The participants of the II Regional Eurasia Jamboree can be scouts from 14 years to 18 years.
This means:
• If the participant was born in the period between August 1, 1992 and July 20, 1996
he / she is one of the lucky ones who can participate at the II Regional Eurasia Jamboree.
