Working with people of different abilities is a new beginning for Nepal Scouts. Diversity and Inclusion are vital aspects of Scouting where differently abled people can enjoy and be productive members of their community.

The 3L Project 2020 Roll Out session of Nepal Scouts was completed this month at the Central School for the Deaf in Kathmandu.  Mabila Khadka, AIS/Training Officer, rolled out the session with the help of transcriber teachers, Scout Leaders, and Ranger Scouts from the school. A total of 11 girls and 13 boys participated.

Nepal Scouts National Coordinator Mr. Lok Bahadur Bhandari encouraged the students to join Scouting.

"Scouting is for everyone. It helps people regardless of abilities to learn useful life skills relevant in present society”, he said.

Lok Bahadur Bhandari promised to be there every step of the way on their Scouting journey and pledged personally to see and arrange the training of teachers and provide free Scout uniforms for the students. In turn, the students expressed their happiness in being part of the project and learning new things.
