Africa Scout Foundation welcomes new members and upgrades in Copenhagen

In the month of April 2018, the Africa Scout Foundation welcomed new members to its ranks. A host of other existing members upgraded their membership status. A total of 15 individual donors and 4 Scout Organizations were recognized, at a reception held on 14 April 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark. 8 other donors who could not be present were also announced. The Danish refreshments were offered by KFUM-Spejderne i Danmark (YMCA-Scouts in Denmark). The two months-long recruitment drive spearheaded by the European Scout Foundation yielded Ten Thousand Dollars (USD 10,000) in donations to support the growth and development of Scouting in Africa.

The board of the Africa Scout Foundation welcomes these new members and thanks them for their support to Scouting in Africa. The board also wishes to appreciate the European Scout Foundation through the efforts of its Chairman, Henrik Söderman, for the immense support and collaboration.
