Thailand selected to host the 34th APR Scout Jamboree in 2029
The 28th Asia-Pacific Scout Conference has officially selected the National Scout Organization of Thailand as the host of the 34th Asia-Pacific Scout Jamboree in 2029. This marks the third time that the country will host the region’s largest Scouting event, following its last successful edition held from 28 December 2005 until 3 January 2006.
The National Scout Organization will host the large-scale event at Vajiravudh Scout Camp in Chon Buri, a province on the country’s north-eastern coast, under the theme “Building Bridges, Creating a Sustainable Future”.

Held roughly every three years in a different country across the Asia-Pacific Region, the Jamboree is the largest outdoor educational event for young people in the Region. It brings together thousands of Scouts aged 12 to 17 for an unforgettable adventure filled with cultural exchanges, friendship, and fun.
A global celebration of Scouting’s spirit, the Jamboree offers young people transformative opportunities to connect, grow, and lead. Through outdoor challenges, creative activities, and cross-cultural interactions, Scouts develop their leadership skills, engage in community service, and embody the values that unite the Movement.
The programme is expected to see an exciting mix of workshops, team-building activities, and outdoor exploration. These shared experiences help Scouts develop a deeper understanding of global citizenship and cultural diversity, fostering a greater sense of peace and inclusion across borders.
Before it's Thailand's turn to host the event, the Philippines will welcome Scouts from across the Region for the 33rd APR Scout Jamboree at Camp Kainomayan later this year.
