AGESCI will use less light

AGESCI, one of the members of the Italian Scout Federation will join the important awareness campaign to save energy for the fifth year.

For the third year AGESCI has joined the energy saving Campaign, M’illumino di meno (I will use less light). The fifth National Energy Saving Day will be held on
13 February 2009.

The initiative, which was first launched on 16 February 2005, when the Kyoto Protocol came into force, is both one of the most important awareness campaigns on energy saving and a widespread symbolic one day event.

It has received for the second year the Patronage of the European Parliament and aims to grow as a European experience.

AGESCI are pleased to send the information sheets in English, French and German explaining the campaign and hope that you can spread and support the initiative as widely as possible.
