About the 2nd Africa Scout Moot
Following the first Africa Scout Moot, held in Kenya in 2023, the second Africa Scout Moot will take place in South Africa under the theme “Phezulu Nangaphezulu”, a Zulu phrase meaning “Higher and Higher.”
The Africa Scout Moot is designed for Rover Scouts aged 18 to 26. It allows young adults to meet, build friendships, and strengthen their understanding of different cultures as active global citizens. Participants will take part in a wide and varied programme of on-site and off-site activities. These will include opportunities to experience local attractions and traditions, while also developing core Scouting skills.
