Interamerican Network Meetings- 2018- Reuniones de las Redes Interamericanas
During the past 3 days, from March 16th- 18th, the Network Meetings took place in the City of Knowledge, Panama. The 64 participants from 11 NSO, gathered around to discuss, work and support the 5 networks: Youth, Youth Programme, Adults in Scouting, Institutional Development and Communications.
Durante los últimos 3 días, del 16 al 18 de marzo, las Reuniones de la Red tuvieron lugar en Ciudad del Saber, Panamá. Los 64 participantes de 11 OSN se reunieron para discutir, trabajar y apoyar las 5 redes: Jóvenes, Programa de Jóvenes, Adultos en Movimiento Scout, Desarrollo Institucional y Comunicaciones.
The networks are one way how the Interamerica Region achieves many of the objectives proposed in the Regional Plan, they are meant to produces tools, and share good practices between the NSOs.
Las redes son una forma de cómo la Región Interamericana logra muchos de los objetivos propuestos en el Plan Regional, están destinadas a producir herramientas y compartir buenas prácticas entre las OSN.
The agenda had two main topics. The first was to sketch some ideas about the quality Standards, it all started with the presentation of what are Quality Standards from Ing. Roy Williams Goti, IPMA-B, SGS auditor, who then followed by a workshop to define the elements by network. Later, the networks further the developed the topic in their sessions.
La agenda tenía dos temas principales. El primero fue para esbozar algunas ideas sobre estándares de calidad, todo comenzó con la presentación de: Qué son estándares de calidad por el Ing. Roy Williams Goti, IPMA-B, auditor SGS, que luego siguió un taller para definir los elementos por red. Más tarde, las redes desarrollaron el tema en sus sesiones.
The second topic was the sharing of Good Practices, most of the work done in network is based on that, some NSOs implement a project, idea or initiative in an area, later they document it and share it with the network. The last day we had a Festival of Good practices, where every NSO shared and exchanged their initiatives.
El segundo tema fue el intercambio de Buenas Prácticas, la mayoría del trabajo realizado en la red se basa en eso, algunas OSN implementan un proyecto, idea o iniciativa en un área, luego lo documentan y lo comparten con la red. El último día tuvimos un Festival de Buenas prácticas, donde cada OSN compartió e intercambió sus iniciativas.
Working in Networks allows us to have an optimization of resources and to achieve our goals as a Region.
