APR Youth Forum elects new Young Adult Members Group officers

As the main highlight of the 8th APR Scout Youth Forum was the election of new batch of the Young Adult Members Group (YAMG) for the period of 2015-2018.

Youth forum participants elected six representatives of the YAMG: Mr. Mori CHENG Chi-Kin (Hong Kong), (Chair, YAMG);
Ms. Nur Sharifah Nurul Atik Binti Baharuddin (Malaysia); Mr. Jeong Eui-Jae “EJ" (Korea); Mr. Sonimeth Tan (KH);
Mr. Jayvy Gamboa (Philippines); and Ms. Belinda WANG Ling-Yu (Scouts of China).

The inclusion of YAMG in the region's operational framework demonstrates the Regional Committee's confidence in the capability of young people to take responsibilities at regional level and provides young people with experience in operating with regional level structures, in decision-making bodies such as the RSC, and all its sub-committees.
