King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue promotes training in Peace Dialogue for African Scout Leaders

From April 20 to 22, Scout Leaders from different countries in Africa participated in a Messengers of Peace three-day training held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue. Sixteen participants from Burundi, Congo and Rwanda, got together under one roof to discuss the theme “Dialogue for Peace.” Throughout the training, they had the opportunity to develop specific skills in communications and dialogue to promote a more peaceful coexistence in their countries and local communities.

Besides all the learning opportunities, the Scout Leaders had a variety of different cultural activities and experiences, such as visiting the city’s landmarks and experiencing various local traditions.

After a very dynamic and productive training, all the participants were grateful for all the things they learned and were equipped to embrace other cultures. At the closing ceremony, Dr. Fahad Alsultan, the Deputy Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, recognized their achievements by handing the participants a certificate and wishing them a safe return back home.
