Being Prepared for Natural Disasters: A Scout’s Guide

When disaster struck, be it in Mexico, Sri Lanka, Haiti, Ecuador, or the Philippines, Scouts were among the first to arrive and serve their community members in their time of need. Most of the time, they are the last to leave, and sometimes, they never leave as they are part of the community.
While we can never predict when disasters will happen, but we can, however, prepare our responses. To achieve this purpose, we have created a special page for you, our heroes in scarves. We believe that by equipping you with the right tools and information, you will be able to handle unpredictable situations quickly, confidently and safely.
On this page, you find e-books, websites, mobile apps and more, that can help you plan step-by-step guides on responding to emergency situations. We hope that you will also contribute to this page by sharing your experiences and other information that might be useful with fellow Scouts.
