JOTA-JOTI 2026 is here! Get ready to connect with Scouts around the world
The world's largest digital and radio Scout event is back! From 16 to 18 October, Scouts worldwide are coming together for JOTA-JOTI 2026, a weekend of friendship, adventure, and global connections.
Every October, Jamboree on the Air – Jamboree on the Internet (JOTA-JOTI) brings young people together across borders, cultures, and time zones through amateur radio and the internet.
This year's theme, “A Peaceful and Inclusive World”, invites Scouts to celebrate their differences, discover what brings them together, and explore how small actions can help create communities where everyone belongs.
Whether you're joining from home, gathering with your Scout group, or connecting over amateur radio, there's something for everyone. Here's how to get started and a few highlights you won't want to miss!
First things first: Get ready for JOTA-JOTI!
1. Register and explore the Activity Hub
Head to jotajoti.info to register or log in using your scout.org account.
Once you're in, visit the Activity Hub, where you'll find an interactive map packed with activities, workshops and challenges. Explore the different areas, discover what interests you and select Join event to sign up.
You can keep track of everything you've registered for in My Agenda, found in your profile.
2. Collect Challenge Codes and earn digital badges

Enter your codes in My Challenge Valley to work towards unlocking digital badges, which you can claim and keep in your ScoutPass digital wallet.
3. Stay safe and have fun
Making new friends is at the heart of JOTA-JOTI, and everyone's safety matters.

Whether you're a Minecraft expert or trying it for the first time, there's plenty to explore.
Take on Hike the Planet
Who says a digital Jamboree has to mean staying indoors?
Hike the Planet is challenging Scouts everywhere to collectively walk the Earth's circumference - more than 40,000 kilometres!
From neighbourhood walks to mountain hikes, every distance counts. You can also try activities such as Walk n' Talk for Peace or the Silent Kilometre.
The challenge runs until 20 October, so you still have plenty of time to get involved. Remember to register and log your distance through ChallengeRunner.
Make connections across the globe
What’s one of the best parts of JOTA-JOTI? Meeting Scouts you might never otherwise have the chance to meet.
Explore the Fun Zone, Chats & Video Calls area to connect through moderated chatrooms and group video calls, or use the Scout Group Directory to discover Scout groups from different countries.
You can also visit Amateur & Broadcast Radio to discover the world of amateur radio and activities such as the Morse Code Chaallenge.
You might learn a new greeting, discover a different Scouting tradition, or make a friend on the other side of the world! Don’t forget to track your connections via ‘My Connections’.
Explore, learn and take action
From peacebuilding and sustainability to digital skills and wellbeing, the Activity Hub is full of opportunities to learn something new.
Explore areas such as Peace & Community, Environment & Sustainability and Life Skills and Health & Wellbeing, and discover how you can turn what you've learnt into positive action in your community.
Because creating a more peaceful and inclusive world starts with the actions we take every day.
