The APR Course for Leader Trainers successfully concluded its 8-day training virtually

The Asia-Pacific Regional Course for Leader Trainers (APR CLT) successfully concluded its 8-day training course for adult leaders on 13 February 2022.  This is the first time for the Asia-Pacific Region to organize the APR CLT online which is one of the ancillary events of the 27th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Conference.

 

Fifty seven participants from 18 National Scouts Organizations attended, namely: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Canada, Scouts of China, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.

 

The APR CLT was led by the Chairman of the APR Adults in Scouting Sub-Committee and CLT Course Leader Antong S. Rahmat with the support of 24 seasoned trainers from Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, and  Singapore. The training team delivered the sessions online and introduced various applications facilitating in the patrols.

 

Some of the highlights of the APR CLT are the challenge at the Wood Badge yoke, testimonial campfire, and brown bag lunch.
