The Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committee consists of ten members elected from the Region’s National Scout Organisations, each serving a fixed six-year term, along with the Chairperson of the Regional Youth Representatives. At each Regional Scout Conference, five outgoing Committee members are succeeded by five newly elected members.

Held every three years, the Asia-Pacific Scout Conference sets the priorities, reviews the policies and standards, and guides the development of Scouting in the Region. The Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committee supports these efforts by guiding the direction and delivery of work aimed at achieving regional priorities and strengthening the Movement in the region.
