Asia-Pacific Scout Region

The Asia-Pacific Scout Region is home to the largest number of Scouts in the world. Of the Movement's over 60 million members, more than 37 million young people and over 220,000 adult volunteers are registered in Asia-Pacific.

As a branch of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, it fosters the Scout Movement in the region and supports 33 National Scout Organizations.

Our Initiatives

This flagship project of the Asia-Pacific Support Centre sees street children guided and mentored by trained volunteer Scout leaders, inspiring them to learn teamwork and leadership skills, and assimilate the values of Scouting: “Duty to others” and “Duty to self”.

The Tide Turners Plastic Challenge encourages young people to fight plastic waste at home and in their communities, and make our environment healthier by understanding how plastic consumption impacts our world.
