SW Award Team in Action

Last week Scouts of the World Award team met in Paris with UNESCO World Heratige Education department. Together WOSM and UNESCO developed a badge that you can get along side the SW Award called the Patrimonito Scout Badge, if you complete your SWAward in a World Heritage site. How exciting?!
Coinciding with the trip was the 8th European Scout Agora that was running at Jambville so we were able to visit the Rovers there for 2 days. Caitlin presented her first official talk on the Scouts of the World Award as part of her new role to 18 countries across Europe.
Finally over the weekend the Scouts of the World Award sub-unit met in Paris at Scouts et Guides de France headquaters. We have an Egyptian, Australian, French and Maldivian in this highly motivated sub-unit. The most significant moment was when Vincent Perraud handed over to Caitlin Wood the new SW Award intern.
