As part of the Scout family, the Africa region has sent a large contingent among them 77 participants and leaders from 31 countries for an experience of a lifetime thanks to Operation One World.

Operation One World is a solidarity fund set aside to enable Scouts from the world over to participate in international Scouting events. The Africa Regional Office has sent seven staff members who will be part of the World Scout Bureau team in the 10 day Jamboree where 38,000 participants from 150 countries are expected, all this under the theme ‘Simply Scouting’
