The 19th Africa Scout Conference, has officially selected Niger as the host of the 10th Africa Scout Jamboree in 2029.
 
The Africa Scout Jamboree is a flagship event that gathers thousands of Scouts from across the continent for an unforgettable experience of camping, learning, and celebrating the spirit of Scouting. More than just an outdoor adventure, the Jamboree serves as a living classroom where young people develop leadership skills, foster global citizenship, and embrace the core values of peace, service, and unity.

Held every four years in a different African country, the Jamboree is the region’s largest outdoor educational event for young people with the most recent edition having taken place in Burundi in 2024. With its strong Scouting tradition and favorable setting, Niger provides an ideal location for the 2029 gathering.
