Jamboree from Above

Discover what the 22nd World Scout Jamboree looks like from above.

This picture was taken from a helicopter on 29th July and published full page in Kristianstad newspaper on the 30th.

It shows the campsite partially although the "Spring" town, the adult camp site, is nearly missing.

The full camp site (including the main arena which is not in the picture) is 1.5 km wide and 2 km long.

The top image – a large white tent – is the dining hall of International Service Team (IST) measuring 100m by 40m, more or less the size of a football playgound! The camp site is more or less the size of 800 football playgrounds!
