Africa Elephant Award: Recognising Outstanding Service to the Scout Movement in Africa

The Africa Elephant Award is the highest Scout award in the Africa Scout region. It is presented to top Scouters in recognition of their outstanding service in supporting the continued growth ad development of the Scout Movement in the region.

The recipients are nominated by their respective National Scout Organizations (NSOs) and the holders of the Elephant Award for consideration by the Africa Regional Scout Committee.

The award constitutes the following dimensions
• Recognising those who have provided exceptional service and contributed to the development of Scouting in Africa
• Providing motivation to the awardees and inspiring others
• Maximising on the profile of the awardees to contribute to resource mobilisation in the long term
