NAIROBI – Ms. Eline Kitaly, the newly appointed National Executive Commissioner of Tanzania Scouts Association recently underwent a two-weeks on job training at Africa Regional Office of the World Scout Bureau. The training was part of the office’s support to the Association after its recent change of leadership.

In her own words, Eline says, “It was a special opportunity for hands on experience and training. I bank on the knowledge obtained as dividends that the success born will bring super returns to TSA and scouting in general… It was an awesome treasure of knowledge and skill that surpassed my expectations!”

This quote “Look wide, beyond your immediate surroundings and limits, and you see things in their right proportion. Look above the level of things around you and see higher aim and possibility to your work” Robert Baden-Powell “The Scouter”, 1936, she says gave her daily inspiration during the training period.

She adds that this professionally administered program, which included sessions at Kenya Scouts Association and a visit to PAXTU and BPs grave in Nyeri, has been an insightful and productive opportunity that will greatly complement her my career experience. Combining interaction with both nature and colleagues made it enjoyable in a manner that brings a sense of ‘edutainment.’

Going back she undertakes to best utilize the knowledge, skills and experiences gathered as a next level big push for Tanzania Scouts Association.
