Trees for the World - 'One Scout One Tree' in Ivory Coast

IVORY COAST - As part of the MoP project, “Trees For The World”, a team of 20 Scouts from Ivory Coast led by the MoP National Coordinator Marie Louise Ycossié engaged in a tree planting exercise at a Scout Camp site in Konkondékro (Bouaké).

While encouraging the Scouts to plant more trees in their communities, Marie Louise said that it’s the responsibility of each Scout to take care of their surroundings and preserve it.

The “Trees For The World” MoP project was developed and initiated by Scouts from 9 different countries that met at the Pilot Inter-American Leadership Training in Texas, December 2013.
