A Baobab Has Fallen - Press Release on The Legacy Of Madiba

Nelson Mandela, African Elephant is no more. MADIBA died on Thursday, 5th December 2013, leaving the world in emotion.
This tragic event does not leave the African youth indifferent.
Today, we do not celebrate death we immortalize a triple icon:
− That of the fight against the odious apartheid system;
− That of the fight for Human Rights and Freedom;
− That of Peace, Forgiveness and Reconciliation.
In naming their patrols, units and groups “MANDELA”, Scouts in Africa identify themselves with these values for which he has dedicated his life.
He was the Patron of Scouts of his country South Africa and was bestowed with the prestigious title of "AFRICAN ELEPHANT", the highest award in Scouting in Africa.
