Scout library opens
Through the funding of the Tsunami Scout Aid Fund and from local donors, the Scout Library, built at the Don Bosco Home compound situated in Bangsak Phang-Nga Province southern Thailand, was officially opened on 12th December 2008.
In its opening day, National Scout Organization of Thailand Secretary General Boonrat Wongyai and International Commissioner Sutham Phanthusak spent time with the orphaned children who were affected by the tsunami that hit Thailand in 2004.
Through this library, the orphaned children, who are now Scouts, can access to basic educational materials and do creative activities.
