SCOUTING …. A STYLE FOR LIFE

"Scouting …. a Style for Life" is the slogan raised by the participants in the 30th Arab Scout Jamboree, the 15th International Youth Gathering for Cultural Exchange and the 1st Scout Gathering for Nile Basin Countries. These three major scout events were taken place in the Youth Hostel in Abu Kier – Alexandria (Egypt) during the period from 24/8/2012 to 2/9/2012.

The opening ceremonies of these prestigious events were attended by the Egyptian Prime Minister in the company of the Egyptian Ministers of Youth, Labour Force, Environment and Sports. 
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Atif Abdelmageed (Arab Scout Regional Director), Mr. Youssef Khadag (Chairman of the Arab Scout Committee), Dr. Abdullah Al Fahd (Member of the World Scout Committee) and Dr. Hamdy Moussa (Chiarman of the Egyptian Federation for Boy Scouts and Girl Guides) participated in the said events. 
12 and 24 countries were represented in the Arab Scout Jamboree and the other two events respectively.
