19th Nippon Scout Jamboree

Join the 19th Nippon Scout Jamboree in Japan!

You are invited to be part of the 19th Nippon Scout Jamboree (19NSJ), taking place from 4–10 August 2026 in Jinseki Kogen Town, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. Held every four years, Japan’s largest national Scouting event will bring together thousands of Scouts, leaders, and volunteers from across Japan and around the world for a week of adventure, cultural exchange, and international friendship.

Under the theme “Peace, Friendship, and Nature,” participants will experience a diverse range of activities that showcase the beauty, culture, and history of Japan while strengthening global connections through Scouting. The program includes outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, community engagement activities, environmental learning, and opportunities to connect with young people from different countries and backgrounds. Participants will also have the chance to explore Hiroshima’s powerful message of peace and reflect on the role young people can play in building a better world.

A few facts about the 19th Nippon Scout Jamboree

When: 4–10 August 2026

Where: Jinseki Kogen Town, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

Who can take part: Youth participants, adult leaders, and International Service Team (IST) members. Eligibility requirements may vary by National Scout Organization.

Expected participation: Around 8,000 Scouts, leaders, and volunteers from Japan and around the world.

Activities: A week of camping, outdoor adventure, cultural exchange, international friendship, and Scouting experiences.

Registration: Participants must register through their National Scout Organization or approved contingent.
