#SkolaSajf2017: Maltese School Children Discover Scouting During Summer Holidays

The Scout Association of Malta has launched a new youth programme targeted at children aged between eight to nine years who are attending the SkolaSajf 2017 centres across the country during this summer.

In line with this year's theme of SkolaSaif (the Maltese Summer School Programme) "Education for All", the #Scouts offer one-day programmes with a scouting twist.

"The children are invited to the outdoors and enjoy a day of adventure while informally learning a number of useful skills", explains Timmy Cutugno, communications officer of the Scout Association of #Malta, "The programme is run by Scout Leaders with a focus on “Learning by Doing”: this gives each child an essential role in their own learning experience."

And who knows: some of the participants may join the Scout Movement after the summer!
