Full meals at the Scout Congress

Where you wondering will the food be like at the Congress? Let us tell you more:

Full catering is included from Thursday dinner until Monday breakfast. This means breakfast, lunch, dinner and two coffee breaks every day.
Meals are served ‘canteen-style’, with single meal option available for lunch and dinner. Meals are at a ‘scout camp standard’, there will be two or more sittings per meal, and you may have to queue.

Dinner: a cooked main course, a side of vegetables and carbs, a salad bar, and either a sweet dessert or savoury soup.
Lunch: either hot or cold. Hot lunches are similar to the dinners. Cold lunches consist of baguettes with fillings, pasta dishes or a cold buffet.

Breakfast: a cold buffet of cereals, bread, meat, cheese, fruits and dairy products.

Coffee, tea, biscuits, fruit and other simple snacks will be provided during coffee breaks twice a day in the meeting facilities. Water is always readily available.

We can cater to a wide variety of dietary requirements: most food allergies, vegetarians, vegans, gluten- and lactose- intolerance, and religious diets. You must let us know during your registration if you have any dietary requirements, or latest 1 week after the registration closes via e-mail to project@kisc.ch. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to cater to your requirements with a shorter notice.

If you are staying longer than the actual congress, and you would like meals, you must book them additionally and in advance. You can book additional meals by e-mailing reception@kisc.ch or project@kisc.ch.
