Fabrice Ouattara is the New Development & Partnerships Support Manager

Following Mary Waweru’s promotion to the position of Directors of Operations with the World Scout Bureau Africa Support Centre, we are glad to report that the recruitment of her replacement in the position of Development & Partnerships Support Manager is now concluded with the employment of Fabrice P. OUATTARA, from Côte d'Ivoire, with effect September 1, 2016.

Fabrice is a seasoned Scout and a Wood Badge holder. He has bachelors degree in Political Science and History from the City University of New York - Hunter College. He brings along the experience of the corporate world where he worked for more than 13 years with the same company in the USA, moving from a low rank to the management level. For the last 5 years, he was managing an agricultural operation where he was also helping to fight child labor in cocoa farms in Côte d'Ivoire. He is fluent in both English and French, and will be supporting, among others, our Food for Life and U-Report programmes.

He is very happy and appreciates the opportunity to serve in this position. We wish him every success in his new position.
