The European Scout Committee of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), the European Regional Office of the World Scout Bureau (WSB) and the team of EuroScoutInfo join the family of Scouting in Norway (Norges speiderforbund and Norges KFUK-KFUM-speidere) and around the world in remembering Gisle Johnson, who has gone home.

A recipient of the Bronze Wolf in 1985 for his services to World Scouting, Gisle was active in Scouting throughout his life and a member (1977-1980) and Chairperson (1980-1983) of the European Scout Committee.
