Wonderland 2014 Azerbaijan, Lerik, International Scout Camp
The international Scout camp "Wonderland 2014 Azerbaijan" held in Lerik 10-17 July was organized by the Association of Scouts of Azerbaijan with the financial support of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The first international Wonderland Scout camp was held in Sheki and the region turned to the traditional annual Scout camp.
This year Scouts made Camp in Lerik, in the South of Azerbaijan. Children got new friends and acquaintance and improved their invaluable skills - Pioneering, activities in the river, orienteering, archery, hiking, different sports games, excursion to the Museum of Longlivers , “Adventure of Lenkaran” – City Tour and other activities were carried out.
Besides Azerbaijan Scouts , also Scouts from Chad, Kenya, Tanzania, Moldova, Belarus, Pakistan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Palestine, Guatemala, Poland, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Turkey, Georgia, Australia, Zimbabwe and Tunisia participated in the camp. "International Night" has been organized during the camp , so each country presented its own culture, clothing, food and lifestyle , reflecting the different attributes in the exhibition.
Please be informed that following years it is planned to organise broader and more exciting camp than before.
