Since April, Scouts distributed cooked food, dry rations, masks and hand sanitizers to the people living in the areas of Santragachi, Howrah and West Bengal of India.

To fight the myth about the pandemic, Scouts also organised awareness campaigns to share with them tips on how to fight the spread of the virus, in the most basic way such as washing hands thoroughly.

Over 300 people benefitted from this Scout initiative that run for 40 continuous days. One Scout said, “it feels good to be part of this initiative, to reach out to those who are really in need.”
