Beninese Scout Leaders inducted on good governance and best management practices

The members of the General Commission, the National Committee and Auditors of Scoutisme Beninois benefitted from a three-day capacity building workshop held in Cotonou. This is in line with good governance and best management practices of World Scouting, under the Global Support Assessment Tool (GSAT) that recommends the training of any newly established NSO management teams with a view to providing its members with the necessary knowledge and tools to enable them effectively execute their mandate.

The training was facilitated by Frédéric Kama-Kama, Regional Director and Mary Waweru, Director of Organizational Development of the World Scout Bureau Africa Support Centre. Also, in attendance was Armand DJEIGO, member of the Africa Scout Committee.

It is hoped that from the training, the leadership will develop resolutions that will result in a bright future for the association.
