The Interamerican Scout Conference has chosen Asociación de Scouts de Colombia as the host of the next Interamerican Scout Moot, which will take place near the vibrant city of Medellín. This major gathering for young adults in Scouting will bring together around 2,000 Rovers from across the Americas for an inspiring experience of transformation, peace, and purposeful leadership.

Held regularly in different countries of the Interamerican Region, the Moot offers participants aged 18 to 25 a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and grow through adventure, dialogue, and service, while participants aged 26 and above can join the International Service Team to help deliver this remarkable event.

Inspired by the country’s commitment to peacebuilding and community development, the Moot’s programme will focus on five thematic pillars: ecology, tourism, service, culture, and memory; each offering a transformative learning experience. Participants will explore Colombia’s rich biodiversity, engage in meaningful community service, reflect on historical memory, and experience the diverse cultural life that defines Medellín. Adventure activities will further challenge Rovers to grow in leadership, resilience, and teamwork, fostering a spirit of friendship and discovery.

The Interamerican Scout Moot in Colombia will be a celebration of unity, youth leadership, and the power of Scouting to create positive change.
