Exploring the integration of sustainability into the strategies and operations of Scout Organizations and Associations.

From February 9-11, this gathering saw 44 participants representing 23 European countries engage in meaningful discussions, forge valuable connections, and exchange best practices. A standout moment was the address by Rebecca Craske, Groups Sustainability Manager of The Scouts, who shared insights on embedding sustainability principles within scouting practices and shed light on the profound impact of Climate Change on our activities.

This meeting is a pivotal component of the Earth Tribe project, an initiative dedicated to transforming youth organisations into forward-thinking entities that actively contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goals. By empowering young Europeans to become proactive citizens driving positive change in their communities, the project aligns closely with the overarching goals of the Erasmus+ programme, which generously supports its implementation.
