The networks are a space for interconnection and construction of knowledge in which the National Scout Organizations (NSO) are the protagonists into achieve the objectives of the Regional Plan: Common Mission, Individual Commitment.

 

During May 17-19, in Montevideo city, 28 participants from: Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil gathered in representation of the South Cone subregion. They participated in the 5 Interamerican Networks of: Youth, Youth Programme, Adults in Scouting, Institutional Development and Communications; In addition, the agenda also included joint meetings between networks to achieve common goals.

 

The agenda of the meeting took into account joint meetings between networks to achieve common objectives and solo work time. Several topics were taken on account by the networks such as the Regional Plan and the quality tools for each of the areas, the implementation of their national policies, the Service Model and the SDGs.

 

The collaborative work is enriching for the region, we also appreciate the hospitality of the Scouts of Uruguay in having hosted the event.
