What to bring

The World Scout Jamboree is a camping event. All the staff of the Jamboree will be camping and this applies to the WOSM team too. We will be staying in large tents with three or four beds in each. You can see the details in the first bulletin.

While you do not need to bring a tent or eating implements (unless you wish to help to reduce waste), you will need all the other personal equipment/items to ensure you have a comfortable time at the Jamboree. We know many of you have been camping before, but here is a short reminder list. You will need to bring the following:


To help you decide what to bring, it may help you to know that the typical day temperatures are 30°c/87°f and evenings are typically 18°c/66°f and that we can expect rain on half the days we are at the Jamboree.
