Message from the Youth Advisors for all JOTA-JOTI participants
Hello to our Scout family!
We are your six Youth Advisors (from left to right – Montaser, Luis, Maire, Daiana, Jeremy, and Maeed). We wish you a very happy JOTA-JOTA weekend from the Catskill Mountains, USA. All six of us are spending the weekend together at the Ten Mile River Scout Camps, which belongs to the Greater New York Scout Councils. We are here taking part in the World Scout Committee induction meeting.
Unfortunately we have limited Internet connectivity, so we are unable to become involved in this weekend during the 57th JOTA and 18th JOTI. However, we want to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you and to let you know that we are always available and are ready to make sure that your voices are heard. As Youth Advisors to the World Scout Committee one of our roles is to ensure that we represent you, the young people of our Movement, at the top levels of governance within the World Scout Movement. We feel that it is our responsibility to keep in touch with all of you and to get your ideas and input in all the work we do.
We, being the friendly bunch of happy and diverse Youth Advisors that we are, we always welcome your suggestions, opinions and thoughts. We want you to know that we are always accessible, we love to network and here from you. Keep following what we do on the Youth Wall on Facebook and on scout.org, and make sure to give us your feedbacks and comments.
Yours In Scouting
Youth Advisors (2014-17)
