STREET DRAMA - AGAINST CHILD MARRIAGE

Child marriage is one of the major problem in western Nepal. Many of NGO/INGO's are working for it. Nepal Scouts also plays the role significantly. Nowadays MoP decided to spread awareness against child marriage in their community.
There are 16 children, who studies in their local school, named Shree Saraswati Secondary School located in Bharatpur Dang. some of them are work in their school's scouts unit and some of them are work in their child club at school. They actively participate in any kind of program, which one works in community for positive change. This is one of the story, they showed their role in their community to make feel all the people for their own responsibilities.
And they started to play a street drama. In this movement, there are 18 MoP members of dang. The participants are school students; are studying in secondary level and they are between 12 up to 16 years old. They want to save their friends of same ages or the age of under 20, from child marriage, who are early age for marriage. Due to the Drama; they asked all parents to do not involve in child marriage. They suggested all to speak out against the child marriage and asked to help them to avoid child marriage from their community. Even the children who is in the situation he/she also must come out to get help from public or community based organizations. The slogan of the drama was "Children's wish, better education not marriage"
