Rover Vigil

The BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES -Zamboanga City Council in sponsorship with the Honorable 2nd District Representative Sir Mannix Dalipe , conducted a Rover orientation and Vigil on June 23-24,2017at Camp Atilano,Pasonanca ,Zamboanga City .
The said activity started with an orientation given by Brother Rover Claime Jay Carzada ,ES and followed by the dinner of the participants and staff of the said activty , it was participated by the various representatives of various institution like CURUAN NATIONAL high School , Regional Science High School , Universidad De Zamboanga , STI Zamboanga , Ateneo de Zamboang a University- Senior High,Western Mindanao State University ,Vitali National Higg School ,Pasonanca National High School and Don Pablo Memorial High School Senior High, the orientation was about the rover program and its function in the scouting movement, and in the society, it was also emphasized that rover scouting is a service-oriented program, to empower youth to be prepared in their next journey as an adult -the gentlemen and ladies of the society. The said program is only offered to 16-24 yrs of age ,studying senior high school or college.
The activty subsequently followed by the vigil proper , it was strongly expressed about the importance of supreme being and to be keen interms of spirituality to be a better citizen of the community for leadership and service.
The Vigil was concluded with an Investiture ceremony and renewing their oath in Scouting .
The newly founded circle would like to extend their thanks to the institutional head of the said circle /Sponsoring person Hon.Sir Mannix Dalipe for the support , making the activty possible to the new members of THE SCOUT MANNIX DALIPE ROVERS CIRCLE #1 ,Zamboanga City.
