International Peace Day Celebrations The Bharat Scouts & Guides, N. E. Railway, Izzatnagar
International Peace Day Celebrated by The Bharat Scouts & Guides, N.E.RAILWAY STATE, IZZATNGAR DISTRICT, on 21 Sept. 2016. A programme with ceremonial function was organized where Mrs. BINNI SHAH, District Commissioner (Guide) & Mrs. Swarnalata Kumkum, Asst. District Commissioner (Guide) was present as Chief Guest. Mr. VIJAY MOHAN SHARMA, District Organizing Commissioner (Scout), Mr. MUSTAK ALI, District Training Commissioner (Scout) & Mr. Hari Shankar Sagar (District Secretary) were also present as Guest of Honor. District Commissioner Scout nominated Mr. MANISH CHANDRA UPADHYAY/ Rover Scout Leader/ Nehru Scout Group/ Izzatnagar being as Programme In-charge of the celebrations.
Inaugural ceremony was organized by planting 50 Saplings of plant by different varieties. Each plant were fully co-opted by individually and they are planted under a well-covered premises, having proper supply of water.
After inaugural function, Drawing Competition was organized in which Theme - Building Blocks for Peace were focused. Participants gives there messages to society about peace by different art and slogans. In continuation of this a RUN FOR PEACE event is organized in which participants by hanging there Banners & Posters March over Railway Colony Campus to Divisional Railway Manager offi. N.E RAILWAY, IZZATNGAR.
After Run for Peace, Signature Drive was carried out by Railway officials and all the participants to give away the messages of Peace to the Society as well as to Railway employees. In Continuation to above Peace Pledge was also organized at office of the Divisional Railway Manager, N.E. Railway, Izzatnagar in Which Mr. Nikhil Pandey, Divisional Railway Manger, & Patron, Bharat Scouts & Guides, District Izzatnagar State N.E.Railway, organized the oath ceremony in which Peace Messages was carried out by all participants.
Number of 135 participants from different Stations of District such as FarukhBaad, Rudrapurcity & Izzatnagar along with special appearance of 60 participants (Cubs/Bulbul) from different schools participated in the celebration.
