Scout Leaders from 13 countries undergo facilitators training
Scout leaders from 13 countries underwent training on Global Support Assessment Tool (GSAT) to support National Scout Organizations in raising NGO best practices and WOSM policies and standards.
The training was held from 21-23 May 2016 in Brunei Darussalam.
GSAT is a way to measure the capacity and progress of NSOs according to NGO best practices and WOSM policies and standards.
Participants from Australia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Taiwan were trained to be GSAT facilitators.
Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committee Chairman Paul Parkinson and Janaprith Fernando, Chairperson of the Global Support Unit, facilitated the training with the support of World Scout Bureau.
