Helping Flood Affected People

I heard the sad news. The people have been affected from the continued heavy rain in past days. So I thought of helping the affected people. I did it with the help of my parents and accordingly gave some cloths and food to the affected people.
Day before yesterday, I gave dry rations to a relief collection centre in my school, D S Senanayake College which is organised by the OBA of the school. Yesterday I collected food and cloths from my parents and relations.
Today morning at 8:30 I went to a camp for affected persons situated at Hewavitharana College Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka and gave these aids to the affected people. There were Muslims, Tamils and Sinhalese people living together in one building.
There were excess of goods at this camp therefore, I handed over some food and cloths to the Divisional Secretary of the area to distribute to other affected people.
I hope that other scouts in Sri Lanka too take part in relief work. There may be lots of scouts and leaders who are affected from this bad weather, we have to help them too.
