Africa Scout Region Strategic Plan

The current regional strategic plan (2015-2018) was adopted at the 16th Africa Scout Conference in Kampala, Uganda (August 2015) upon submission by the Africa Scout Committee with technical support from the World Scout Bureau Africa Support Centre.

The plan takes into account the six priority areas emanating from the 40th World Scout Conference resolutions, namely Youth Engagement, Educational Methods, Diversity & Inclusion, Social Impact, Communications & External Relations and Governance. It also builds on the outcomes of the status reports based on extensive field visits by top Scouting Leadership at the Regional level.

Ultimately, the strategic plan aims to consolidate the gains of Scouting and address fundamental issues on systems, structures, processes and infrastructure at the NSOs and regional levels.
